- William Cabell Greet testing various recording machine and microphone combinations, speaking a short part of the Rat story and of Sister Susie. Recordings on Amplion and Fairchild machines with Amplion and Western Electric microphones, with various other elements noted (record type, distance from microphone, volume of recording). Followed by an unidentified female reading the same short excerpt of the Rat story, some very poorly recorded material, and finally a some big band music.
