Aghavni Hovsepian discusses her youth in the Ottoman Empire, her family's life there, the 1895 massacre in Harpoot, the 1909 massacre in Adana, her emigration to Philadelphia, and her family's life in the United States. The end of the recording contains a short segment of a man who declines to be interviewed for the oral history project.
