- Abstract
- This collection is comprised of audio from a compilation cassette. The cassette contains segments of oral histories and recordings from other collections at Columbia University's Oral History Archives at Columbia and New York University's Tamiment Library and Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives. The collection documents aspects of New York City politics and labor in the 1930s-1940s. The collection's co ntent is as follows (with runtime in minutes): Introduction regarding 1949 New York City elections, recording of Julius Isaacs, and introduction to Newbold Morris (2:04); Gilmore Clarke (9:45); Ken Sherbell (2:17); Loretta Szeliga (2:43); and William "Bill" Michelson (4:51)
